 Lift Slide Doors and Sliding Folding Doors         The lift slide door system is a roller system of European design. It allows door panels to be lifted above a 3/16" flush track to roll easily when opening or closing the door. When lowered, the weight of the door, a special gasketing system, and multi-point locking provide excellent weather resistance and security the advanced sliding door design is capable of extraordinarily large sizes. Growing increasingly popular for the many luxurious homes and resorts around the world.

Based on project data, Lift Slide and Slide Fold Doors should not be used in Hi-rise applications above 6 floors when severe water infiltration is a risk or concern.  In these circumstances it is recommended using full threshold door sills with built in weep systems.

Flush Tracks are not a good solution when water infiltration is a risk, you must consider how much wetness on the floor near the Lift Slide and Sliding and Folding Doors is acceptable.
